Welcome to the Farm
Stewarding land, animals, people, ideas and potential
The FARM provides us with the ability to offer a sacred space for transformational learning by connecting people to nature, animals, each other and to spirit, in order to create a more sustainable world.
Nestled in the rolling foothills of Western Pennsylvania, sits our 34 acre retreat center. We are conveniently located 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport and 40 minutes west of downtown Pittsburgh. Our farm is a Horse Sanctuary for abused or abandoned horses that we rehabilitate to become our co-facilitators in our Horse Enhanced Accelerated Learning Experiences. The property is filled with hiking trails, a private pond where we have 5 varieties of fish, lounging hammocks, swings, a picnic table and plenty of space for people to have individual and group experiences. Bed and Breakfast on the property for overnight stays, $70/night.
The new conference room is fully equipped with meeting space, table, sofa chairs, flip chart, marker board, full kitchenette and restroom. There is an awning covered patio in the back of the conference room with table and chairs, as well as a front porch lounging area both of which are overlooking the lush pastures.
Surrounded by nature, the farm is a place of rejuvenation, peace and tranquility and is a wonderful space for all types of retreats, workshops, conferences, events, etc.
The bed and breakfast is a sprawling ranch style home originally built in the 1800’s. Our gardens (when in season) offer fresh veggies for our guests with running spring water on every tap. We have 4 bedrooms available for overnight guests, offering rooms with multiple beds, queen bed and single bed rooms with access to the house and all its amenities.
The farm is also home to 2 rescue pups and 16 rescue horses that are beautiful, gentle beings who are our partners in the transformation work. They are all friendly and absolutely love attention!
The conference facility is also able to be rented for use of private workshops/retreats/meetings/ etc. Please contact Sierra at (724) 612-7049.
